My name is Anthony Meyer, but everyone calls me Tony. I grew up in a small town named Leipsic in rural northwestern Ohio. I studied linguistics as an undergraduate at Ohio State and then computational linguistics as a graduate student at Indiana University, where I am now working toward a Ph.D. My main area of research is the unsupervised learning of non-concatenative morphology. When I'm not working on my dissertation, I'm usually painting or sketching. I particularly enjoy painting landscapes en plein air.
